At the heart of The Square A Foundation are our founders. Mrs. Gina Sprinkle, Chairwoman, and our Executive Director, Mr. Kevin Sprinkle. A beacon of hope in the fight against the opioid crisis, Kevin’s leadership has been instrumental in our organization’s mission to connect as many people to treatment as possible.
Kevin is a distinguished alumnus of the Center for Nonprofit Management in Nashville, Tennessee. His academic journey there equipped him with a wealth of knowledge and skills that he has since applied to his work at The Square A Foundation. He holds national certifications in several key areas:
Revenue Development and Fundraising for Nonprofits: This expertise enables Kevin to secure the necessary resources to support our initiatives.
Nonprofit Board Leadership: His leadership skills ensure our board operates effectively and aligns with our mission.
Nonprofit Organizational and Program Leadership: Kevin’s strategic oversight guides our programs to make a meaningful impact.
Beyond his professional accomplishments, Kevin is a devoted family man. He has been together with, and happily married to Gina for over 30 years and is a proud father of two children. The Sprinkle family also includes Sparkle, a beautiful cat they rescued over a decade ago, further showcasing their compassion and love for all living beings.
The Sprinkles have deep roots in the Central Savannah River Area (CSRA), with family on both sides of the river. They are active volunteers in local organizations, reflecting their commitment to community service. Their involvement extends to their church and various regional nonprofits where they serve on the board.
Gina’s passion for helping others is not just confined to her work at The Square A Foundation. It permeates every aspect of her life, making her a true pillar of the community. Her tireless efforts in combating the opioid crisis have touched countless lives, offering hope where it’s needed most. As a two-time cancer survivor and burn survivor, she has been prescribed these medications and have never been addicted. As a testimony to how these medications are helpful, she also knows the dangers of misuse and is passionate about promoting awareness regarding this serious crisis in our community and in our nation.
In essence, Kevin and Gina Sprinkle are our community leaders, guiding us in our mission to combat the opioid crisis. Their dedication and commitment inspire us every day as we work towards a future free from the devastating impact of opioid addiction.
